About Time

When I started working with these glass letters all kinds of ideas to turns text things into glass keep coming... I was reading Warhol´s philosohpy - from A to B and back again - when I stumbled across this wonderful poem about time, called About Time :)))

I immediatly wanted to turned it into a glass sculpture. And so I did. I chose red, white and blue for colors as in "Very American" and respected his carefully page design for the poem in installing it.

In the way he presents it, there is some echoes of concrete poetry too. He was playing with the words as with the ways he was laying them on the page.

I really did subconsciously take the words on the page for blueprints to be developped. I think due to my architecture education :)))
